On Friday, Jenn had a fun "girly" party!! The only detail that you're going to get is that it was the same type of party that we did for my bachelorette party...
It was nice to hang out with Jenn, Amy, Bri and Erin! I haven't seen Erin since last Labor Day weekend, which really bummed me out. I think we might actually be seeing her again this weekend to deliver some "stuff"!!
Here are some family-friendly pictures from the party!! (I see Jenn and Bri haven't been brave enough to post the fun pictures either!!)

Brynn started swimming lessons on Saturday at 10:30am. I thought this would be a good time for us to do them because Brynn could get up at her normal time of about 7:00, eat breakfast, play for a while and take a quick nap. None of us were feeling that great over the weekend AND we skipped her nap that morning. Swimming didn't go as well as planned. She didn't want anything to do with the swimming lessons until pretty much the very end, when we sang the popcorn song.
The popcorn song goes like this:
I'm a little popcorn,
throw me in a pot,
shake me, shake me,
until I pop!
It was super cute and she loved it!
Here are some pictures from her first lesson!!

Gramma Jody was here for your birthday party, left that night and then was back on Tuesday! She didn't get a chance to see you much while she was here, so she made an extra trip to spend more time with you!! (Daddy and I even went on a date while she was here - thanks Jody!)
Here are some pictures from Gramma's visit!!
Brynn, I can't believe it's been a month since your first birthday. You are still playing with all of your toys that you got for your birthday but your favorite thing from your birthday is your ladybug pillow that Aunt Jenn gave you. You call it your "Bub" (instead of "Bug") and you show it to us every morning and when you wake up from your nap! Sometimes it will even make it over to the changing table with you because you don't want to put it down!! On Auntie Bri's last day here, you finally opened her present. She got you a Cabbage Patch doll that looks a lot like you did when you were born! She even had the birth certificate for the doll made so that it has the same name as you!! Sorry Little Chick (that's my nickname for you), she's staying in the box!!
You've been around so many people lately, you love to make everyone smile. They all say that you are so cute and that you have such pretty eyes. Your hair has been a lot of fun to play with lately too... it's gone through a growth spurt, just like the rest of you. We can put little piggy tails in the back now. It doesn't stay very well, Auntie Bri said that they stick straight up when you wake up from your naps.
You love to dance and you try to sing too! When you sing, it's more like lip synching than anything else but you love to do it!! Your Daddy is going to move you to the passenger side of the truck soon because you always kick the back of the seat. Your legs are so long! I tell him you are trying to give him a back massage. He doesn't agree. You will rub his back if I ask you to though!!
You still aren't walking yet but man, you are a speedy crawler!! You like to stand up but you just don't feel like walking. Oh well, within the next few months or so I'm sure you will. Your Daddy and I didn't walk until we were 14 and 15 months old.
You like to get into the kitchen cabinets and play with our Rubbermaid containers. That's pretty much the only cabinet you're allowed in. You take everything out and most of the time, you'll put it back in. Mommy knows that we have to wash everything before we use them!!
You also like to get into the bottom drawer in Mommy and Daddy's bathroom. We keep those little packets of tissues in there, you like to take them out of the drawer and chew on the packaging! Here are some pictures and videos that we've taken in the last month!!

Auntie Bri was here for 10 days, she decided she wanted to go on another road trip while she was here. In March when she was here, we took her to Sedona. This time, we were debating on Tombstone, AZ or The Grand Canyon and decided on Tombstone. It's a good thing we did... it flooded at The Grand Canyon!!
I drove for about an hour, then Chad took over. He gets bored sitting in the passenger seat. We drove through Florence, Catalina, Oro Valley and Tucson... three of the four cities, I've never been to before. There wasn't a whole lot to see from the road that we were on in Florence except for a few prisons. Catalina and Oro Valley were pretty but there wasn't a whole lot to see there either.
Once we got onto the freeway in Tucson, there was an accident and we had to get back off. It took us about 3 1/2 hours to get there. Tombstone is a pretty neat little town... I'd say it's a one time trip though. There's a little ghost town that's about 20 minutes from our house that you could probably get the same effect from. But atleast now we can say we've been to Tombstone.
Here are some pictures from our fun trip!!
While we were stuck in traffic, we followed this semi. I thought it was a pretty cool website, so I had to take a picture!
Um, they spelled TOMORROW wrong...
Notice, the horses are smiling!!
