I think this was the least amount of time that Lindy's ever spent on a trip to our house, she was only here from Friday until Tuesday!! Brynn had SO MUCH FUN!! Lindy makes all sorts of goofy faces and noises and sang to Brynn, she just couldn't get enough of it. Lindy handed Brynn to me twice and Brynn cried, she didn't want me to hold her, she wanted Lindy!! What's up with that?! Her Daddy and I are supposed to be the coolest people ever... reality check. We're her parents. ;o)
Brynn tasted Diet Pepsi for the first time and she LOVED to chew on Lindy's camera case. It kind of looks like a little purse. Lindy also taught Brynn to stomp her feet. I need to get that on video!!
Here are some pictures that we took over the weekend!!

For some reason, ten months old seems a whole lot older than nine months old. Brynn, just in the last week, your personality has completely changed again!! You're still the super happy baby you have been but you have been hilarious!! You've really started to mock Daddy and I. Every goofy face that your Daddy makes at you, you do it right back at him!!
You are army crawling ALL OVER the place. You use your feet and your arms to get you to wherever it is you want to go!! Daddy's afraid that you're going to head right out the doggie door someday!! You know what "Brynn come here" and "no touch" mean. You're a smart little cookie!!
You are working on getting your fourth tooth in already!! I keep trying to take a picture of your bottom two but you never want to show them to me when I have the camera handy.
You fell off the bed again. Mommy learned her lesson, this time you were soooo mad!! I saw you do a complete roll in mid air, while holding on to my cell phone and didn't even let go when you hit the ground. Seriously.
You are finally in a big girl car seat!! Earlier this week, we went and bought two new car seats for you. They look more comfortable than any seat I've ever sat in!! We've also flipped you around to be forward facing. They technically don't recommend it until you're 20lbs and a year old but we didn't want to wait that long, and neither did you. You were beginning to not like your old car seat at all. You would yell at Daddy and I when we would put you in it. You really seem to like your new view!!
This past Thursday, you got to spend the whole day with your Aunt Jenn and your Arizona Grandma, Ann!! We are so lucky to have them in our lives. Ann said that you did really well while you were at her house and then Aunt Jenn stopped by to pick you up, it just happened to be one of the rainiest days that you've ever seen! Aunt Jenn said that you were mesmerised by the rain. She also said that you had a lot of fun playing with Luke and Matt's instruments, like the drums and tambourine!!
Yesterday, you waved "hi" for the first time! I opened up the garage door to let Brenda in (we carpool to work because gas is $3.75/gallon, just for the record) then when you waved to her!! You've waved "hi", "bye" and "nite-nite" ever since!! ;o)
Aunt Lindy flew in from Colorado to visit you last night and she brought you all sorts of fun-bright colored clothes!! Here are a bunch of pictures that we took today, I was trying to see those teeth!! (I think the beef with vegetables were almost as messy as the carrots a few months ago.)

On Sunday, we took Brynn to her first Diamondbacks baseball game!!
Highlights of her first game:
* Matt's class got to sing the National Anthem (Which we missed! Long story.)
* She kept trying to grab the straws out of the cups that belonged to the people sitting behind us
* She was clapping her hands like crazy when everyone else would
* She loved the jumbotron (What kid wouldn't?! It's like a million times the size of our tv at home!!)
* When she started to get antsy, we'd flip her upside down and tickle her... we found two more teeth coming in!!
* She got to eat her yummy ticket...

Anyone who reads this and has kids around Brynn's age, what kind do you have and do you like it? I've read over a million reviews and I am burnt out. Brynn's ready for a new carseat and we're in the market for a new one. SOON.

I have realized in the last two days just how lucky and how grateful I am to have Chad and Brynn in my life. I want to enjoy them forever. Sure we've had lots of good days and a few not so good days but all in all, they're amazing.
Do you want to know why?
Yesterday, we found out some of our friends are getting divorced. I'm not going to go into details on here but it made me realize what an amazing husband I have. He loves our daughter to death and would do anything for her. It made me realize that I don't ever want to take him for granted and I appreciate everything he does for us. He's a really involved, dedicated, loving Daddy and really wants to be a part of Brynn's life. And... he puts up with me. Enough said. (No comments on that one!)
On another note, today I had a crappy day at work. It started out ok but after about 9:00, it went downhill. Nothing seemed to go right and I didn't get anything done that I had planned on. I hate that because I feel like I'm letting everyone down. Then, a really immature guy made some really stupid comments and they sent me through the roof. I came to the conclusion that he's the type of person who likes to hear himself talk and thinks he's hilarious. Well, today, I wanted to punch him in the face. Seriously. So a few more things that normally wouldn't get to me, did and I wanted to cry but I held it together and didn't. Bad timing... it was my boss's birthday and it was supposed to be her special day and I had a crap-o frustrated attitude this afternoon. (Sorry Teresa...) Well, I got through the day and came home to this:
Within the 20 minutes that it took me to get home after I had hung up the phone with Chad, Brynn had fallen asleep while she was laying on Chad.
Then, Chad showed me these. He took them this afternoon before her little power nap. You can even see Brynn's teeth!! (Um, and her runny nose!!)

For the last few days, Brynn hasn't been eating as much as she normally would, she's been really fussy and you could just tell that she wasn't feeling up to par. We just figured it was her teeth bothering her. (Still working on that picture for you!)
Well, last night when I got home, Chad was feeding her baby food and she was just not in the mood for it (if you know Brynn, you know that's totally not like her, she LOVES food!). He gave her a bath and while we were getting her ready for bed, we noticed that she had a rash over most of her body. We gave her some Benadryl and put her to bed, checking on her a few times throughout the night.
This morning, she still had the rash but it wasn't as bad as what it was last night. We took her to daycare, asked Brenda to keep an eye on the rash and to call us if it got worse. I got a call at about 11:30 (or so?). Brenda fed her while she was only wearing her diaper, so that she could keep an eye on the rash. She said that it seemed to get a lot worse after she ate. Luckily, Chad was able to leave work to take her to the doctor.
We found out that she had contracted a virus sometime late last week or over the weekend and this was what was causing her runny nose, occasional fever and fussiness. Apparently it wasn't her teeth. When I got home, Chad gave me the full scoop. He said that Dr. Salek told him that the rash was a "fever rash" and was a sign that her body was fighting off the virus. Ok, then. I've never heard of a fever rash before. Basically, he told Chad that there are a lot of misconceptions when it comes to teething. A runny nose and a fever shouldn't be considered signs of teething either.
Whew. I was afraid that they'd have to do allergy tests or something on her to figure out what wrong. Because it's a virus, we can't give her anything for it and she'll get over it on her own.
She's actually doing a lot better tonight. She got a really good nap in this afternoon (so did Daddy!!) and I'm sure that helped a lot.
A few more updates:
* Brynn now weighs 19.5lbs!! (Watch out Jenna, she's catching up!!)
* She has learned to give hugs and kisses!! She has two versions of kisses... one, she looks like she's going to lick your face off and two, she actually puckers up her tiny little lips!!
* (You can skip reading this one but I wanted to document it anyway.) Um, she rolled OFF THE BED last week. I've hesitated to post on this because it makes me feel like a horrible mom. I left the room and she rolled right off the bed. It scared her more than anything, she yelled "Dada!" (um, yeah, not Mama!!)about two seconds before I heard a loud THUMP! and a SCREAM! I ran in, picked her up and told her everything was ok. Tough little girl didn't even cry, she was more scared than anything!!

To all those Mom's who read our blog (including mine!), hopefully you had a great day today!!
We had kind of a crazy day, crazy weekend actually. It went by way too fast and I didn't get much done that I needed to!! Brynn's teeth have been bothering her all weekend and we've done everything we can to try and keep her happy, except put whiskey on her gums. If this keeps up, we might just have to try it. We feel so bad for her!!
Chad and Brynn took me to lunch at my favorite restaurant today (take a wild guess at which one that is?!) and neither Chad or I felt good for the rest of the day. Chad got me a card that of course, just about made me cry. What a keeper. I also got a new cell phone and steering wheel cover for the VAN! SWEET! I know you're all jealous!!
All in all, it was a nice weekend and I'm glad I was able to relax and spend some fun time with these two goofballs that I love to death!! Thanks for being the best husband and daughter ever!!
OH and last night we found out that some of our good friends who had a baby two months after Brynn was born are expecting again!! Talk about a surprise!! Their baby is due in December. Um, that's a scary reality check right there. Sorry Brynn, you're not getting any brothers or sisters for quite a while!!

Ah. I'm hooked on this layout and it's a good thing because it took me forever to find one that I liked and to get everything set up the way I wanted it. I'm still not done yet (I swear, I didn't forget you Rachel!!) I think I'm going to make a few changes...
* I might put the playlist back on here when I have a bunch more songs and I need to figure out how to make them alternate when you bring the page up.
* I need to add more pictures on the side, or maybe use Flickr this time
* More of my friends need blogs and I need to add their sites to my "fun sites list". (Ahem, Jenn... Joanie... Liz... Michele... Anne... Natalie... Rosey, I know you have one but I'm waiting on some updates!!!)
Totally something Chad would have done...

Last Monday, GGMa came over to watch Brynn so last night we took GGMa and GGPa to dinner at one of all of our favorite places... Texas Roadhouse! It's a great place to take kids because it's so noisy in there. Plus, we don't have to clean up after her much when we go there because it's one of those steakhouses where you throw the peanut shells on the floor. Love it. (I won't ever go there on my birthday though, they sing to you and make you get on a saddle!)
Here are some great pictures that we took with their camera because I forgot ours. What was I thinking?!
I LOVE this first one of GGMa and Brynn!!

Chad: CRAP! I forgot to get on the elliptical machine!
Me: Why don't you get on it for a few minutes right now?
Chad: I don't want to have to take another shower... just thinking can make me sweat!!
(Got rid of our stairclimber over the weekend that we never used... and got a smokin' deal on an elliptical machine!! Where did we put the elliptical machine, you ask? The only place that we have room... right next to our dining room table!!)
