I've mentioned before that Brynn likes to take everything out of this cabinet and take it all over the house. Now, she likes to take some of the containers out, sit IN the cabinet and play with everything that's left in there with her. 
Note to self: Don't waste your time trying to organize the Rubbermaid containers, Brynn will rearrange it all anyway.
Brynn started swimming lessons on Saturday at 10:30am. I thought this would be a good time for us to do them because Brynn could get up at her normal time of about 7:00, eat breakfast, play for a while and take a quick nap. None of us were feeling that great over the weekend AND we skipped her nap that morning. Swimming didn't go as well as planned. She didn't want anything to do with the swimming lessons until pretty much the very end, when we sang the popcorn song.
The popcorn song goes like this:
I'm a little popcorn,
throw me in a pot,
shake me, shake me,
until I pop!
It was super cute and she loved it!

Brynn is such a little fish, she LOVES the pool. When my mom was here visiting, she took Brynn to the pool three or four times, not including when we went to Nathan's or for her birthday party!! Jody (Chad's mom) even went once!!
Brynn loves the pool so much that her birthday present from my mom and dad (Grammie and Grampie) is swimming lessons!! She starts them on August 23rd and they are once a week for eighteen weeks. YAY!

Brynn's favorite part about opening presents was playing with the ribbon that was on them!! 
Brynn says thank you to everyone who got her a gift, I think she now owns every toy that is on the market for a one year old!! This week, her favorites are her cookie jar with fun shapes and her push and spin toy with animals on it!!
Thank you SOOOO MUCH TO ANN for letting us have Brynn's birthday party at her house!! She has a perfect party house and even has a pool!! Here's a picture of Jenn and her mom, Ann!! 
I'm going to skip to the fun cake part of the party because I've been dying to post these pictures!! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH TO JENN for making Brynn's Abby Cadabby birthday cake!! It was really yummy, here's a picture of her with it. It turned out great!! 
She wasn't quite sure what to do with the cake at first, she was quick to learn though!!

Wondering how we cleaned her off? The kitchen sink!! (and then she went swimming!!) 
We've decided that Brynn's pretty much done with baby food. She won't eat it when we try to give it to her, she just tries to take the food and the spoon and see how far she can throw them. Or drop them and see how far they bounce. Or let Mel lick her spoon so it looks like she ate the food herself. Little girl, you're very smart... luckily for Mommy and Daddy you're not very sneaky!!
So far, she loves anything that has to do with a hot dog... she ate almost a whole corndog all by herself!!
Tonight, we ordered her first Happy Meal from McDonald's!! She only ate two and a half chicken nuggets and two french fries, but it was exciting!!
Brynn's new favorite commercial is the Lowe's one where the guy opens the patio door and it says "Paint me!". Every time she hears that door on the commercial squeal, she has to watch it!
